Bund alt-katholischer Jugend Offenbach

Der baj ist die Jugendorganisation im Katholischen Bistum der Alt-Katholiken in Deutschland. Mitglieder sind alle Kinder, Jugendlichen und jungen Erwachsenen des Bistums zwischen 12 und 28 Jahren. Ihr Vorstand ist auf Bistumsebene die Bistumsjugendleitung / BJL. Diese wird alle zwei Jahre von den Jugendlichen des Bistums auf einer Bistumsjugendvollversammlung neu gewählt. Alle Mitglieder der Bistumsjugendleitung arbeiten ehrenamtlich. Auf ca. 3 – 4 Sitzungen pro Jahr werden überregionale Freizeiten und Wochenenden geplant.

Analog zur Bistumsjugendleitung auf Bistumsebene kann es in den Dekanaten Dekanatsjugendleitungen geben. Jugendliche in den Gemeinden können einen eigenen Gemeindejugendleiter / eine Gemeindejugendleiterin bestimmen.
